HOTING TSUI / 徐顥庭

Ho-ting Tsui is a 19-year-old Hong Kong young oboist, currently studying in the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris with Jérôme Guichard. He was awarded the Hong Kong Scholarship for Excellence Scheme to pursue his study in France.  He started learning the oboe with Alice Wong at the age of 8. He was a junior student of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. He actively participated in different competitions, and was awarded 2nd runner-up in Parsons Music Scholarship for Wind, Brass and Percussion Instruments, 1st in Oboe Solo (Senior) and 1st runner-up in Tom Lee Music Prize for Woodwind Concerto in the 70th 69th & 68th Hong Kong School Music Festival respectively. 

He attended various international music festivals, such as the Beijing International Oboe Festival, Ticino Musica Festival and Saline Royale Academy, and studied with prominent oboists such as Ingo Goritzki, Yeok-Hee Kwak and Céline Moinet . 

He has also been playing in different youth orchestras such as the Pro Arte Orchestra of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Children Symphony Orchestra and the Junior Symphony Orchestra of the HKAPA. His playing has been included in the Student Concert Hall of RTHK and has been broadcasted on the radio. 

徐顥庭現年十九歲,生於香港,現為法國巴黎大區音樂學院學生,主修雙簧管。徐氏自八歲起跟隨黃雅玲老師學習雙簧管,及後入讀香港演藝學院青少年音樂課程。中學畢業後獲取香港卓越獎學金遠赴法國修讀音樂,現師隨Jérôme Guichard.

徐氏曾參與不同的國際音樂節,包括北京國際雙簧管節、瑞士盧加諾Ticino Musica Festival及法國Saline Royale Academy,跟隨Ingo Goritzki、Yeon-Hee Kwak、Céline Moinet等名師學習。

徐氏同時活躍於本地樂壇,除了多次於校際音樂節獲獎,更積極參與本地交響樂團演出,包括Pro Arte Orchestra of Hong Kong、香港兒童交響樂團、Hong Kong Youth Philharmonia 、香港演藝學院青少年課程交響樂團。除此之外,徐氏的演奏被收錄於香港電台「學界音樂廳」,並於節目中播出。
