Jessica Fung / 馮啟思

Jessica is a musician who plays the Chinese bamboo flutes. She graduated with an MMus from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts as a Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholar, and both BA and MA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she was awarded the Yam & Pak Scholarship for Chinese Opera (2017), Ng Tai-kong Memorial Scholarship (2016 & 2017) and Kong Yue-kau Memorial Scholarship (2016 & 2017).


In recent years, she has devoted herself to performance, tutoring to perform in places such as the United Kingdom, Russia, Austria, Singapore, and Macau. She has also participated in performances by various local music groups. Specializing in Cantonese music, her documentary production Cantonese Music Lab was awarded Creative Professional Practice Award by the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. In June 2021, Jessica co-organized the seminar Cantonese Music Performance Style: Preservation and Variation.

馮啟思,笛簫演奏者,香港賽馬會音樂及舞蹈信托基金獎學金得主,香港演藝學院音樂碩士,香港中文大學音樂碩士。在學期間,先後隨孫永志教授及朱文昌老師主修笛子,隨李忠順教授專修音樂研究,曾兩度獲香港中文大學頒吳大江紀念獎學金、江譽鏐紀念獎學金,亦曾獲任白戲曲研究獎學金。

近年致力於笛簫演奏,曾外訪演出之地方包括英國、俄羅斯、奧地利、新加坡及澳門等地,並參與本地各類音樂團體的演出。現專研廣東音樂,所製作的《廣東音樂研究室》紀錄片獲香港演藝學院頒創意專業實踐獎;2021年參與策劃《粵樂的演奏風格:傳承與變奏》學術研討會暨音樂會,任策劃及音樂會主持。
