SERENA HO / 何樂瑤
Serena Ho is a student in Diocesan Girls’ School. She started playing the violin at the age of four under the tutelage of Ms. Bidan Zhao from the Yip's Children's Choral and Performing Arts Centre. At the age of ten, she received the ATCL diploma. She soon received the LTCL diploma with distinction the year after. She has also been an avid member of the Diocesan Girls’ School Symphony Orchestra and String Orchestra. Apart from playing the violin, Serena is also an active vocalist and chorister, and is currently the chairlady of the Senior Choir of her school.
Over the years, Serena has participated in various competitions like Hong Kong Schools Music Festival, Hong Kong International Music & Arts Festival and has won multiple awards in both violin and vocal categories. In the summer of 2019, she was selected to take part in the Heifetz Program for the Exceptionally Gifted under Mr. Bela Horvath in the United States.
Through making music, Serena aspires to make friends with like-minded musicians and share her dedication and emotions with the audience.
Serena是一位拔萃女書院學生。自四歲起,她便跟隨趙碧丹老師學習小提琴。Serena不但熱衷於小提琴演奏,從小參加校內樂團;更對聲樂很有興趣,近年還成為學校高級女聲合唱團的團長。
Serena參加過不同的音樂比賽和交流活動,並獲取多個獎項。於二零一九年暑假,她更被挑選到美國參與Heifetz Program for the Exceptionally Gifted,與世界各地的青年音樂家互相學習,獲益良多。
Serena希望透過演奏音樂結識志同道合的朋友,並與觀眾分享音樂背後動人的故事。
