WING FAN /

Wing Fan, second year Bachelor’s student at the Royal Academy of Music on scholarship, is passionate in both chamber music and solo performances. Studying under Tatiana Sarkissova and chamber coach Andrew West, she is keen on exploring a wide range of repertoire from different genres. She has had performance classes with Christopher Elton and Mei-Ting Sun other than regular

coaching. During her time in the Academy, she has played with singers in performance platforms, developing a long-term piano trio as well as collaborating with flautists and string players. Apart from being a pianist, Wing started learning the Chinese instrument Pipa and developed as a chorister when she was in school. Graduated from the S.K.H. Lam Woo Memorial Secondary School in Hong Kong, she served as a chairperson and pianist in Junior Choir, Chinese Orchestra and the Senior Mixed Voice Choir. She was also a prizewinner in piano duets, piano solos, choirs, Chinese orchestra and ensembles in local competitions over the years. At the age of 17, she was awarded the Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music (LRSM) in piano performance. Wing enjoys working with other musicians and she hopes to reach more people through her music in the future.
